UM FREESTYLE SKATING TEAM
The University of Michigan Figure Skating Team is USFSA certified and consists of competitive figure skaters who have a passion and love for the sport. Practices begin in September and are held at the Yost Arena. The team competes at intercollegiate competitions throughout the year starting in the fall and ending in the spring. Skaters accumulate points throughout the season for their team by placing within the top five in their event at various intercollegiate competitions. At the end of the season, points are totaled and the top three teams from each division are sent to Intercollegiate National Championships.
We are proud to announce that we are the 2012 Midwest Intercollegiate Champions! This qualifies us for Intercollegiate National Championships for the second consecutive year!
