Collegiate

  • The team rosters 16-24 student-athletes with extensive synchronized and figure skating experience and outstanding academic credentials. All skaters must be enrolled in a college or degree program as full-time students and have passed the Bronze Skating Skills test (née Juvenile Moves-in-the-Field); however, most on our team have passed their Gold Skating Skills (Senior Moves-in-the-Field) test.

  • The U-M Collegiate Team is a continual powerhouse in the fast-growing collegiate division, medaling in past U.S. Synchronized Skating National Championships in a field of over 12 teams. The team practices at least three times a week plus additional off-ice practices and workouts. Practices continue through the National Championship.

  • Practice
    Sunday 10:00am - 1:20 pm
    Tuesday 9:00pm - 11:50pm
    Thursday 6:00am - 7:20pm

Additionally, skaters are expected to complete at least 2-3 workouts a week delivered via an online platform called Volt and to skate two freestyle sessions a month. Certain freestyle sessions will be held and covered by dues.

    Freestyle Sessions
    Thursday 7:30-8:20am

We try to have practice end in time for any 8am classes. Additionally, car pools are provided for team members to and from practice.
