Open Collegiate

The team rosters 8-20 student-athletes with any synchronized and figure skating experience and outstanding academic credentials. There are no test requirements; however, it is strongly suggested to have Pre-Bronze/Bronze Skating Skills (née Pre-Juvenile/Juvenile MIF) test passed to skate on the team.

The Open Collegiate team has quickly risen to the top of its division, consistently medaling at the Midwestern Sectional Championships making this team a force to be reckoned with. Practices continue through the Midwestern Sectional Championships (pending competition schedules).

Practice
Monday 6:00am - 7:50am
Friday 6:10am - 7:30am (every other week)

Additionally, skaters are expected to complete at least 2-3 workouts a week delivered via an online platform called Volt and to skate two freestyle sessions a month. Certain freestyle sessions will be held and covered by dues.

Freestyle Sessions
Thursday 7:30-8:20am

We try to have practice end in time for any 8am classes. Additionally, car pools are provided for team members to and from practice.
